Energy Trust’s 2010-2014 Strategic Plan was developed to give a long-range perspective to Energy Trust’s activities; as well as provide more specific goals to achieve between 2010 and 2014, which are:

Help utilities and their ratepayers acquire all cost-effective energy efficiency by saving 256 average megawatts of electricity and 22.5 million annual therms of natural gas.

Accelerate the rate at which new renewable energy generation is produced, helping to achieve Oregon’s 2025 goal of meeting at least eight percent of retail electrical load from small-scale renewable energy projects, by generating 23 average megawatts from renewable energy sources and expanding renewable energy markets for hydro, solar, geothermal, biopower and wind.
