Since 2002, Energy Trust services, cash incentives and creative customer engagement strategies have supported commercial, industrial and residential customers investing in energy solutions that control costs, reduce energy waste, create more comfortable spaces to live and work and supply renewable power for our communities. The results tally up to $1 billion saved on participant utility bills.

Energy Trust strategies fuel Oregon’s economy

By leveraging Energy Trust incentives to upgrade energy systems and save dollars on their utility bills, customers deliver far-reaching benefits to Oregon’s economy through new purchases of goods and services, job creation, increased wages and new business income. Since 2002, Energy Trust has cumulatively added $2.1 billion to the local economy, including $630 million in wages, $120 million in small business income and 18,000 jobs.*

Our mission

Energy Trust of Oregon is an independent nonprofit organization providing energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions that help keep energy costs as low as possible, strengthen the economy and build a sustainable energy future.

Energy Trust works with Portland General Electric, Pacific Power, NW Natural and Cascade Natural Gas to reach and serve customers.
