Energy Trust is raising the bar for energy performance in small commercial buildings. The Small Commercial Efficiency Pilot kicked off this year, and space is still available for eligible projects. If you’re planning to build an office, school or retail building from 10,000 to 70,000 square feet, we encourage you to apply.
Pilot projects can earn Energy Trust cash incentives for implementing a package of energy-efficiency improvements based on the Core Performance Guide – Oregon Edition. By following the guide, property owners can reap reductions in energy use up to 30 percent beyond Oregon code.
Completing the solutions in the guide also enables projects to meet the energy requirements for Earth Advantage® Commercial green building certification, a new certification specifically designed for smaller commercial buildings.
