Energy Trust offers cash incentives for a wide range of energy-saving improvements from solar water heating and pool heating to free upgrades in tenant units to help them manage their own energy use.

Project Type Equipment Upgrades Energy Trust cash incentives are available for qualifying energy-efficiency upgrades and retrofits to Oregon rental properties, assisted living facilities, campus living property or condominium buildings. Remodels Non-structural improvements to an existing space, including lighting, HVAC, water heating, kitchen and laundry equipment.

Qualifying Size Duplex, triplex and fourplex properties; 5+ attached units, adjacent or stacked

Project Type New Construction Ground-up construction of a new, high-efficiency and sustainably designed commercial building or other facility. Major Renovations Renovations to existing buildings that entail redesign and reconstruction of building spaces and require changes to the lighting or HVAC systems OR building expansions or additions of conditioned square footage to existing buildings.
