Energy Trust provides services and cash incentives to help utility ratepayers save energy and manage costs in their homes, business and communities. To qualify for incentives, however, all equipment, systems and design practices must pass two cost-effectiveness tests.
On February 20, Ted Light of Energy Trust will review the premises and approach of this screening process with members of the Simulation Forum. After discussing the basics of each test, he will work through several examples, showing how various inputs affect the result. He will also discuss how recent market changes may affect cost-effectiveness results and other issues related to the tests.
