Energy Trust provides cash incentives to Oregon businesses for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. To qualify, you must:
- Be served by Portland General Electric, Pacific Power and contribute to the public purpose charge, or served by NW Natural or Cascade Natural Gas on an eligible rate schedule. Check your bill or contact us if you have questions.
- Have a project site in Oregon.
- Large electric consumers of more than one average megawatt or 8,760,000 kilowatt hours a year are subject to the Energy Trust Self-Direct Policy. Program services are limited and restrictions apply to self-directing consumers. Please refer to the Self-Direction FAQ or contact us for additional details.
Energy Trust offers cash incentives for both standard and custom projects, as well as solar projects.
Projects that feature standard equipment with easy installation can earn standard incentives. Qualifying projects can claim up to $1,000,000 per site, per year.
