About Sustainable Homes Professional (SHP) Program
Module 2: Building Science Fundamentals
The Sustainable Homes Professional program helps builders, remodelers, architects and designers develop the technical skills and knowledge required to construct high performance homes. These classes are also appropriate for developers, inspectors, realtors and other professionals who are eager for an expansive understanding of sustainable building practices and the processes needed to achieve them. SHP classes integrate lecture and discussion, hands-on exercises and tours of homes certified ENERGY STAR, Earth Advantage and LEED for Homes. Each class is eligible for 14 CCB elective continuing education hours and 14 AIA learning units. Classes meet monthly on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Earth Advantage Institute.
Fee per module session: $295.
