From county courthouses and government offices to your local DMV, many public and nonprofit office buildings were built long ago and aren’t frequently maintained—which makes them prime candidates for energy-efficiency projects. At Energy Trust, we’ve found that the key to successful implementation is to properly identify, plan and budget for improvements. We work closely with public and nonprofit organizations to increase energy efficiency that will reduce operating expenses, improve employee and visitor comfort and contribute to a more sustainable future.
The following forms and incentives apply to projects permitted under the 2010 Oregon Energy Efficiency Specialty Code. If your project was approved under 2007 code, please contact us at newbuildings@energytrust.org or 1.877.467.0930.
Energy Trust encourages owners to enroll projects as early as possible—preferably prior to or during early design—by completing the Project Enrollment Application form. This form requests general facts about your building, including type, size, location and contact information for the project team. It also outlines the terms and conditions of participation. This form must be completed, signed and submitted prior to applying for incentives.
