Home Comfort Package

Make your electric- or gas-heated home cozy and save energy. When you install attic, wall and floor insulation and seal air leaks, you'll get a $150 bonus cash incentive in addition to standard Energy Trust cash incentives.

An Energy Trust trade ally contractor must perform the work on your home and can help you apply for the following cash incentives and tax credits. Cash incentives must be applied for simultaneously and each additional upgrade must be installed within 90 days of the first improvement project. See a list of Energy Trust contractors in your area.

Receive a $150 bonus in addition to the standard cash incentives when you install attic, wall and floor insulation and seal air leaks:

Note: Insulation must meet Energy Trust specifications. If wall, attic and floor insulation need to be upgraded to meet specifications, all three must be installed with air sealing to receive the bonus. If only two areas need insulation upgrades, both must be completed with air sealing to receive the bonus. Homes needing only one insulation upgrade are not eligible for the bonus.

Incentive offer is subject to availability of funding and may change.

Oregon customers heating their homes with electricity or natural gas from Portland General Electric, Pacific Power, NW Natural or Cascade Natural Gas and Washington customers heating their homes with natural gas from NW Natural can participate. To qualify for bonuses, all improvements must be installed by Energy Trust trade ally contractors within a 90-day period, and all incentive application materials must be submitted together.

Schedule a one-hour Home Energy Review to identify additional energy-saving opportunities in your home. Or, consider a Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® assessment for comprehensive, basement-to-attic testing and recommendations.

Energy Trust does not pay incentives for energy-efficiency improvements that are mandated for building code compliance, such as remodeling, renovation or new additions to the home.
