Windows Bonus Package

Receive a $100 cash bonus—in addition to standard incentives—when you install new, ENERGY STAR qualified high-efficiency windows and a second qualifying energy-saving improvement.

Work with an Energy Trust trade ally contractor; he or she can also help you apply for the following cash incentives and tax credits. Cash incentives must be applied for in the same mailing and the improvement must be installed within 90 days of the first improvement project. See a list of Energy Trust trade ally contractors in your area.

Any of the following additional improvements qualify as the second needed improvement:

Second improvement must meet all program specifications and requirements to qualify. Both improvements must be installed by an Energy Trust trade ally within 90 days of each other; the incentive applications must also be received within this time.

Oregon customers heating their homes with electricity or natural gas from Portland General Electric, Pacific Power, NW Natural or Cascade Natural Gas can participate.

NW Natural customers in Washington who heat their homes with natural gas can receive our incentives.

Oregon homes that heat with oil, propane, kerosene, butane or wood can conduct their own energy audit and apply for cash rebates for installed weatherization upgrades through the Oregon Department of Energy's SHOW (State Home Oil Weatherization) program.

To qualify for bonuses, all improvements must be installed by an Energy Trust trade ally contractor within a 90-day period, and all incentive application materials must be submitted together.

Energy Trust does not pay incentives for energy-efficient improvements that are mandated for building code compliance, such as remodeling, renovation or new additions to the home.
