Choose from an Earth Advantage® or eco-rated certified home and get cash back from Energy Trust when your home is sited in Energy Trust territory. Both of these homes offer you all the energy efficiency that comes with ENERGY STAR® but go beyond with more efficient features such as:

  • Enhanced water efficiency

ENERGY STAR certification is at the core of both Earth Advantage and eco-rated manufactured homes and includes features designed to use less energy, keep you comfortable and help cool global warming. All three of these certified homes are significantly more efficient than U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development code, which can save you hundreds of dollars annually on energy costs.

When you purchase an ENERGY STAR certified manufactured home, you can receive a free upgrade to the eco-rated certification, making your new home even more energy efficient.*

For Palm Harbor customers, you can upgrade to the Earth Advantage certification and receive $700 cash back from Energy Trust.

*A $700 incentive is mailed to the home buyer once the home has been successfully sited in Energy Trust service territory.

Tax Credits
There is a tax credit available from Oregon Department of Energy for a sealed and tested duct system in your manufactured home.

New manufactured homes that carry the Earth Advantage or eco-rated label and are sited in Oregon and heated with electricity or natural gas from Portland General Electric, Pacific Power, NW Natural or Cascade Natural Gas are eligible for an upgrade incentive of $700.

Follow these easy steps to get cash for your new Earth Advantage or eco-rated certified home:

  1. Establish your eligibility.
  2. Purchase your qualifying home and have it sited in Energy Trust territory. Find a participating retailer here.
  3. Sign and submit your application form within 90 days of siting.
