Energy Trust Incentives
We offer cash incentives for eligible homeowners who install their own insulation. Self-installed projects do not qualify for a multiple-improvement bonus. Participants must review and install to the requirements in our Weatherization Specifications Manual. Each insulation incentive can only be paid one time per home, regardless of ownership. Incentives are paid only for materials, not labor. An Energy Trust verification is required to receive an incentive.
Electric- and gas-heated homes:
Attic/ceiling insulation: $0.25 per square foot
Floor insulation: $0.30 per square foot
Knee wall: $0.30 per square foot
