Energy Trust can help you reduce energy costs and save money on energy-efficiency home improvements that make your home healthier and safer. Through Savings Within Reach, we have made it easier than ever to make energy-efficiency upgrades and to participate with Energy Trust.

Who can participate

• Oregon residents living in a single-family home or complex of up to four units. Please note: For rental properties, the homeowner or property owner must approve the energy-efficiency improvements before work begins.
• Residence must be heated in Oregon by Portland General Electric, Pacific Power, NW Natural or Cascade Natural Gas.
• Household must meet Energy Trust guidelines for moderate income, which are based on the number of residents and gross annual income—your total income before tax credits and deductions—of the home.

Available incentives

Energy Trust offers increased incentives for Savings Within Reach participants. Incentive amounts must not exceed the cost of the improvement project. All improvements must be installed by an approved Savings Within Reach participating contractor. Incentives are paid directly to your Savings Within Reach participating contractor and will be deducted from your invoice; however, you are responsible for paying the balance of the invoice.

• Attic, wall and floor insulation
• Ductless heat pumps
• High-efficiency heat pumps
• High-efficiency gas furnaces
• Duct sealing
• Duct leakage test
• Air sealing
• Air leakage test
