Take a step toward energy independence by installing a solar energy system on your roof. Even in western Oregon, we have plenty of sun—as much or more than many countries far ahead of us in solar energy development. And thanks to Energy Trust incentives and state and federal tax credits, solar energy is more affordable than you think. Your savings will grow over the years as energy costs continue to rise.

Steps to go solar:

  1. Attend a free Basics of Going Solar workshop or review our solar fact sheet and get all your questions answered.
  2. Learn about our cash incentives for solar electric and solar water heating systems.
  3. Choose a contractor from our list of qualified and trained professionals.

What We Provide next

Photo Top: A 4.3 kilowatt solar array on the grounds of Mosier Community School now generates about 15% of the school's electricity. The solar demonstration project, which consists of two pole-mounted arrays, contributes to the school's science curriculum and gives students a chance to monitor and measure how they system works.
