Home Performance assessments must be performed by an Energy Trust Home Performance with ENERGY STAR trade ally contractor. Solar site assessments must be performed by an Energy Trust solar trade ally contractor.

Oregon customers who heat their homes with electricity or natural gas from Portland General Electric, Pacific Power, NW Natural or Cascade Natural Gas to qualify for Energy Trust’s Home Performance and Solar Assessment Package.
Home Performance with ENERGY STAR assessments performed through Clean Energy Works Oregon do not qualify for this incentive.
1: Establish your eligibility.
2: Select a contractor to perform either your solar site or Home Performance with ENERGY STAR assessment; a few contractors perform both services. See a list of Energy Trust Home Performance trade ally or solar trade ally contractors in your area.
3: Receive a referral from your chosen contractor (if the contractor does not provide both services) to perform the second assessment or select your contractor from the Energy Trust trade ally list.
4: Submit your Solar Assessment Form within 90 days of the Home Performance assessment. Often, the contractor performing the solar assessment will help complete the form. If your contractor performs the solar site and Home Performance assessments, you are still required to submit the Solar Assessment Form.
