For Performance Testers

Bringing your expertise to energy-efficient builders and homebuyers

Energy Trust's New Homes program requires that homes have duct distribution and heat pump systems performance tested to ensure that systems and equipment meet Energy Trust and Northwest ENERGY STARĀ® Homes Certification Requirements.

This creates a unique opportunity for trained heat pump commissioning and duct testing contractors to become Energy Trust approved performance testers and receive training on qualifications, marketing support and equipment purchase incentives.

You will also be listed on our website as an approved performance testing contractor.

Training

Regional training events offer opportunities to learn all you need to know about energy-efficient home construction and subcontractor services. Events happen throughout the year, so check our training & education calendar to register.
