New Manufactured Homes cooperative marketing provides participating retailers and manufacturers with funds to promote and market qualified energy-efficient homes.

Cooperative Marketing for Retailers and Manufacturers

Retailers and Manufacturers can earn up to 50 percent of the marketing (broadcast, print, digital, outdoor media, events, sponsorship opportunities) cost per placement up to a variable annual cap, when meeting all of the following requirements:

  • Placement of the ENERGY STARĀ® logo (Retailers only), the eco-rated logo or the Earth AdvantageĀ® logo
  • Placement of the Program Ally of Energy Trust of Oregon logo
  • Key messaging about the program in the marketing piece (key messaging examples listed below).

Additional audio brand messaging must be utilized in radio ads to supplement for lack of logo placement. Please consult with Energy Trust regarding radio brand messaging requirements.

To meet the requirements for cooperative marketing, retailers and manufacturers will need to utilize the logos, logo-use guidelines and comparable key messaging as listed below.

ENERGY STAR Logo Use Guidelines

ENERGY STAR
  • The ENERGY STAR name should always appear in capital letters.
  • The registered symbol ® must be used the first time the words "ENERGY STAR" appear in materials and:
    • The ® symbol should always be in superscript
    • There shall be no space between the words "ENERGY STAR" and the ® symbol
    • The ® symbol shall be repeated in a document for each chapter title or webpage

Energy Trust of Oregon Program Ally Logo Use Guidelines

Partner Logo
  • This name should always appear as "Energy Trust of Oregon."
  • Area of Isolation–A minimum amount of space should surround the logo at all times. This "area of isolation" is determined by the size of the cap "E" of the logotype. Please note that this is the minimum amount of clear space, and that there can always be more space surrounding the logo.

Samples of key messaging you may incorporate into your marketing materials are provided below. You may choose to develop your own messaging, which will be subject to approval for reimbursement.
