Energy Trust of Oregon is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to helping utility customers and communities save and generate clean energy while building a more sustainable future. Since 2002, Energy Trust has helped customers save $5.3 billion on utility bills by offering services and incentives that support energy efficiency and renewable energy upgrades to homes, businesses and public/nonprofit facilities. We serve 2 million Oregon utility customers of Portland General Electric, Pacific Power, NW Natural, Cascade Natural Gas and Avista and 86,000 NW Natural customers in SW Washington with energy information, cash incentives, and connections to contractors and community partners to receive support and install clean energy projects.
Energy Trust has three advisory councils: the Conservation Advisory Council (CAC), Renewable Energy Advisory Council (RAC) and Diversity Advisory Council (DAC). RAC and CAC provide advice and resources to the Energy Trust board and staff regarding Energy Trust energy efficiency and renewable energy policies, programs, budgets and action plans. Each council conducts their work through public meetings, which are currently held virtually.
We are recruiting new members to join RAC and CAC, and may fill up to 3 openings on RAC and up to 4 openings on CAC.
