Join BetterBuiltNW for this free one-day training and learn the latest and greatest techniques being used today to build energy efficient homes.

This training will cover our Top 10 “Good, Better & Best” approaches to quality home construction and will share practical insights from the job site. The topics presented will help you stay on top of your game and increase the energy efficiency, comfort and durability of the homes you’re building.

Gain info that every builder must know to stay on top of building code changes and ahead of homebuyer expectations.

Attendees will learn about:

  • Common barriers to energy-efficient home construction
  • Building science fundamentals & moisture management
  • Ways to improve envelope design & performance
  • Advanced mechanical systems, lighting, & appliances
  • New + existing utility programs & energy-efficiency incentives

The last hour of the training will consist of a behind-the-walls guided tour of a local energy efficient home. Hear directly from the builder and rater who will be on hand to answer questions and talk about the typical features that go into energy efficient homes and the homeowner benefits that they provide.
