Front Load Clothes Washers

$65-$300

Energy Trust works with select retailers and distributors to provide benefits to customers purchasing ENERGY STAR® certified residential front-load clothes washers. These efficient models use about 33% less water and 25% less energy than standard models.

Benefits available for customers purchasing from select retail locations will vary but may include price discounts at the time of purchase, improved financing options or other benefits. Contact a participating retail location to learn what specific benefits they are offering on efficient models.

If you are not purchasing through a qualifying retailer, you can still receive an incentive.

I purchased a new clothes washer. What benefits are available to me?

If you purchased a qualifying clothes washer and the location you purchased it from is on the list of participating retail locations, you already received your benefit at the time of purchase and are not eligible for a cash incentive. If the location you purchased from is not on the list of participating stores and you did not purchase from a participating distributor, you can submit for a cash incentive within 90 days of purchase. You can access the clothes washer application from our website at www.energytrust.org/MFappliances.

I purchased a qualifying clothes washer from a non-participating retail location. The name on my receipt/utility bill and the name on my application are different. Can I still receive a cash incentive?

Yes. Your incentive check will be made out to the name listed on your application, not the name found on your receipt or the name on your utility bill. Please apply with only one name for faster processing.

I purchased a qualifying clothes washer from a non-participating retail location. Do you need my original receipt when applying for a cash incentive?

No, a copy of your receipt is fine. Please keep in mind that we can only accept receipts that clearly show the model number, retailer, price, proof of payment and date of purchase.
