Net Zero Grants

Building a Net-Zero Future, Together

Energy Trust of Oregon is proud to support the innovative minds who make net-zero buildings possible, from current industry professionals to the leaders of tomorrow. Through our fellowship and internship grants, we aim to drive a sustainable future where new buildings produce as much energy as they consume.

Net Zero Fellowship

Widespread adoption of net-zero buildings requires new research to advance design practices and technologies. The Net Zero Fellowship looks to address potential barriers while growing the community constructing these remarkable buildings. We award fellowship grants to support research over 12 to 18 months.

Net Zero Emerging Leaders Internship

The Emerging Leaders grant is given to Oregon architecture and engineering firms to employ students for a 12-week internship. The interns support each firm’s AIA 2030 Commitment—a national initiative to evolve design practices so participating firms can work to achieve net-zero-energy buildings by 2030.
