Energy Trust to launch competitive selection for New Buildings program management contract

Request for Proposals to be released on February 20

PORTLAND, Ore. — January 11, 2018 — Updated January 25,2018 Energy Trust of Oregon will re-bid the contract for the
Program Management Contractor for its New Buildings program. It is Energy Trust board policy
and national best practice to put contracts out to bid periodically with the objective of delivering
effective services and high value for utility customers.

Energy Trust will release the Request for Proposals (RFP) on February 20, 2018, with proposals
due to Energy Trust on March 26, 2018. Work under the new program management contract will
begin on January 1, 2019. Energy Trust will negotiate with the winning bidder for a three-year
contract with two optional one-year extensions. To view the posted RFP on February 19 and for

Through Energy Trust’s New Buildings program, commercial customers have access to a range
of cash incentives and expertise for making energy-efficiency improvements. In 2018, Energy
Trust incentives for New Buildings customers are budgeted at approximately $12.6 million.
Energy Trust’s 2018 energy savings goals for the New Buildings program total 6.3 average
megawatts of electricity and more than 0.9 million therms of natural gas.
