AIA Oregon Digital Design Series: Net Zero Emerging Leaders Internship Panel Discussion
- This event has passed.
This AIA Oregon Digital Design Series will include a 60-minute special panel webinar with discussions from past mentors and mentees of the Energy Trust of Oregon Net Zero Emerging Leader grant program. The panelists will present on the different approaches each firm took to develop and implement a reporting process to follow through early design to post-occupancy.
Each year Energy Trust of Oregon selects a small group of Oregon architecture and engineering firms to participate in the Net Zero Emerging Leaders program, which provides grants to employ students for a 12-week internship. The interns support each firm’s AIA 2030 Commitment – an industry pledge to transform architectural standards toward net-zero buildings.
Webinar participants will learn how the mentorship process helped support each firm’s AIA 2030 Commitment—an industry pledge to transform architectural standards toward high-performance building. Additionally, the mentees will share their knowledge gained on the integrated design process and how the internship has helped prepare them to enter the workforce, inspired and ready to design high-performance buildings for the future.
Please join us and get to know Oregon’s next generation of designers and mentors leading the way to a net-zero energy future.
