BESF Training: Design and Control Strategies for Implementing GEBs
- This event has passed.
Building on concepts and resources from recent webinars around grid-interactive efficient buildings (GEBs), this third offering from the Building Energy Simulation Forum (BESF) webinar series will explore real-world challenges and solutions for implementing GEB technologies and systems at each stage in the project, from design through operation.
Experts in the field will present from a design and analysis perspective on equipment and software tools that benefit grid resiliency. Hear from experts at WSP and Schneider Electric, both firms that work on some of Oregon’s most renowned resilient buildings including the Oregon State Treasury Resilience Building, to help ensure project sustainability and resiliency goals.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about:
- Various GEB configurations
- Distributed energy resources
- Electrical and control infrastructure essentials
- Microgrid system architecture
Don’t miss this chance to hear about the latest GEB design and control strategies available to Oregon’s design and build professionals.
