Knowing that efficient systems can help data centers greatly reduce energy expenses and data storage costs, BendBroadband made energy efficiency a top priority when it set out to build the new Vault Data Center.

To help meet these goals, BendBroadband turned to Energy Trust of Oregon for technical resources and cash incentives. The facility now benefits from innovative technologies such as a passive cooling and heat-exchange system that drastically reduces heating and cooling costs, while a solar electric array brings renewable energy into the fold.
