AIA Oregon Digital Design Series: Mock Charrette Webinar
- This event has passed.
Join Energy Trust of Oregon and AIA Oregon for a panel discussion and an opportunity to see a “mock charrette” that exemplifies years of best practices from design team experts in their chosen field. These experts have had the opportunity to engage with Energy Trust early in the planning process to maximize incentives and participate in impactful early design discussions. The Early Design Assistance, Commissioning and Solar Early Design Add-on incentives will be discussed. Panelists will represent professional roles equating to the recommended team members at an early design meeting, including the project owner, architect, engineer(s), Energy Trust representative, solar trade ally, energy modeler and Commissioning (Cx) Agent for add-ons.
The panel will be an informal facilitated discussion. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask practical questions about best practices within the design community, which will better equip project teams in making cost informed design decisions for a more energy efficient, occupant-centered and above-code building. Enjoy viewing a productive representation of a “mock charrette” with plenty of time set aside for Q&A on recommendations, insights from past experiences and keys to successful early design meetings. Additionally, participants can earn 1 AIA HSW CEU, pending approval.
