Dehumidification is necessary in indoor agriculture facilities to maintain desirable growing conditions. Growing plants produce considerable amounts of moisture that must be removed by outside air exchange, air conditioning or dedicated dehumidification devices.

See the cash incentive available for the installation of energy-efficient dehumidifiers at new and existing indoor agricultural facilities outlined below. Incentives are subject to funding availability and may change.

Dehumidifiers | $5.80 per pint per day (replacing existing, working equipment or when adding capacity at an existing grow facility or installing in a new grow facility) | Must be new portable or standalone dehumidifiers have a Minimum Energy Factor of 3.0 L/kWh at 80°F and 60% relative humidity Must be installed in an indoor agricultural facility that operates year-round. Cannot be installed in a greenhouse. |
