Energy Trust works directly with public entities who want to upgrade to more efficient lighting equipment, fixtures and other energy-saving equipment in their facilities.

Lighting incentives

Work with a trade ally to scope your standard lighting project and identify appropriate cash incentives for your project. See a list of cash incentives for lighting equipment and controls below. You may receive cash incentives up to $250,000 per site, per year.

High-Bay/Low-Bay LED	$80-$200 per fixture
High-Bay/Low-Bay LED with LLLC Controls (Non screw-in in retrofit kits)	$115-$300 per fixture
Lighting Controls (control loads vary)	$30-$60 per sensor
LED Cooler/Freezer Display Case Lighting (includes motion sensors & LEDs)	$8.50 - $14.50 $2 - $3 sensor per linear foot of fixture
Street Lighting (replacing high-intensity discharge fixtures, cobra head and shoebox style fixtures)	$45-$350 per fixture

Incentives are subject to funding availability and may change.

If you are planning a larger lighting system upgrade or a project that may not qualify for standard incentives from the table above, we can work with you to create a customized incentive offer. Examples of recent custom lighting projects include signage, exterior, interior, landscape, stadium and street lighting.

To be eligible for custom incentives, each lighting project must be reviewed and pre-qualified. Get started by contacting an Energy Trust Business Lighting trade ally.
