Budget Workshop, October 14, 2020
About the Public 2021 Draft Budget Workshop
From 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on October 14, we are hosting our virtual 2021 Draft Budget Workshop. The workshop is open to the public and interested stakeholders.
Energy Trust of Oregon’s Draft 2021 Budget and 2021-2022 Action Plan will be available for review October 7, a week before the workshop, and posted at www.energytrust.org/budget. As a nonprofit organization investing utility customer funds, we value input from customers, the public and stakeholders. The 2021 budget outlines our strategies and approaches to help customers benefit from the lowest cost and cleanest energy available—energy efficiency and renewable power.
What to expect at the virtual, interactive workshop?
Executive Director Michael Colgrove will start the workshop with an overview presentation of the budget and action plan activities. This is followed by a series of learning sessions that you can choose from based on your interests. You can attend learning sessions independently from the full workshop if you prefer. View the agenda here. The workshop will conclude with a feedback session for all attendees. Separate from the workshop yet related to the draft budget: the board will have its own discussion about the budget and what they heard at the workshop. This board discussion is also on October 14 from 12:45 – 1:15 p.m. and the public is welcome to listen in.
We want to hear from you!
In addition to feedback received at the workshop, we also welcome written comments.
To submit your feedback after the workshop:
Email us your comments on the draft budget or mail comments to Energy Trust, 421 SW Oak St., Suite 300, Portland, OR 97204. The draft budget is available for public comment from October 7 through October 28, 2020.
