Villas Market is a family-owned Hispanic grocery store and market in Happy Valley, Oregon. After receiving support from Energy Trust of Oregon to install LED lighting, store owner Medardo Villanueva knew who to turn to when the business needed to buy hot food holding cabinets.

As the market was introducing takeaway food options out of their recently opened kitchen, Villanueva realized that food holding cabinets would be necessary to ensure quality service and safety for customers. A $900 cash incentive from Energy Trust convinced Villanueva to go with an energy-efficient model. This incentive lowered the out-of-pocket cost for the new hot food holding cabinets by 45%.

Since Villanueva is passionate about caring for the community that frequents his store, he is thankful for the opportunity to install energy-saving equipment.
