The adage goes that “you can’t save what you can’t measure.” Energy Trust of Oregon is collaborating with the Smart Building Center, a regional resource for energy efficiency, to provide access to the technical tools needed to identify energy waste within a commercial or industrial operation. These tools are particularly useful for facilities implementing Strategic Energy Management or focusing on operations & maintenance improvements.
The Tool Lending Library consists of 85 different types of diagnostic tools with more than 1,000 pieces of equipment. The library also can provide technical and administrative staff to provide training and support to users – all made accessible with an easy online reservation system.
Energy Trust is now providing this expanded access to the library at no cost to qualified customers.
In addition to an extensive tool inventory list, the Smart Buildings Center’s Tool Resource section also offers online/downloadable applications guides on how to use tools, as well as instructional videos.
