The Northwest Hydropower Association is teaming with the National Hydropower Association to highlight Smart and Sustainable Hydropower projects in the state of Oregon.

We are holding a Small Hydro Buyer’s Workshop on Thursday, August 22, 2019 in Bend, OR specifically designed for commercial, industrial, and municipal energy purchasers who are not familiar with hydroelectric projects, technologies, development steps, valuation, and current methods to purchase power from these projects using existing Oregon law and regulations.

The one day conference will give an overview of the types of hydro projects, technologies, checklists for procurement, options for procurement, a site tour of small hydro projects, and a mixer.  This current agenda lays out the day (Scroll down to August 22).
