New 2019 Whole Building and Path to Net Zero offering under Oregon Zero Energy Ready Commercial Code
- This event has passed.
We’re excited to announce a special, interactive online training on Energy Trust of Oregon’s new 2019 Whole Building and Path to Net Zero offering (“Whole Building”). This advanced level training is a great way for energy modelers and engineers to get familiar with the technical requirements, form and modeled savings.
The Whole Building offering is applicable to 2019 Oregon Zero Energy Ready Commercial Code projects pursuing Whole Building Energy Model and Path to Net Zero incentives. Applicants are required to provide an energy model reflecting the proposed design and a baseline energy model compliant with the Performance Rating Method outlined in Normative Appendix G of ASHRAE 90.1 2016 Standard. This differs from the previous New Buildings 2014 energy code modeled savings offering in that measure level savings are not cost required.
During this training, you will learn the steps to participate and the technical requirements, including target setting and energy simulation. You’ll also learn how to complete the Energy Modeling Summary Workbook, which calculates estimated savings and incentives.
We invite you to review the workbook in advance of this training’s Q&A section, where our New Buildings engineers will provide answers in real time.
