Internship supports new leaders in net-zero design and engineering
Hear from Energy Trust’s 2023 Net Zero Emerging Leaders about their experiences with integrated design, AIA 2030 Commitment reporting, and how they’ve been inspired to lead the way toward a net-zero energy future.
Energy Trust’s Net Zero Emerging Leaders Internship (NZELI) Grant empowers the next generation of designers and supports design firms’ reporting on the AIA 2030 Commitment—an industry pledge for net-zero emissions in the built environment. The grant is awarded annually to Oregon-serving architecture and engineering firms to employ students over a 12-week period. Beginning in 2024, the grant will also include engineering industry pledge MEP 2040 and SE 2050 Commitments.
During this event, we will also share details about the 2024 NZELI opportunity and how to apply. If you are a student interested in growing your expertise and connections in net-zero design or a professional whose firm could benefit from additional support for your net zero commitment, this event is for you.
