- Be served by Portland General Electric, Pacific Power, NW Natural, Cascade Natural Gas or Avista and contribute to the public purpose charge. Check your utility bill or contact us if you have questions.
- Have a project site in Oregon.

Select equipment that qualifies for Energy Trust incentives.
Your trade ally or vendor can help you get started. Be sure to check all of the “Qualifying Criteria” on the incentive application to ensure that your equipment qualifies for Energy Trust incentives.

Purchase and install equipment.

Complete the appropriate incentive application for your cash incentive.
You must return a completed and signed incentive application with your invoices for your equipment to Energy Trust within 180 days of purchase and before the end of the calendar year to receive your incentive.

Energy Trust offers the following cash incentives when energy-efficient insulation is installed in industrial facilities. Indoor grow operations are not eligible for commercial or industrial insulation incentives.

| Attic insulation* | $0.90 per square foot | R-9 or less, unless existing is damaged or missing; new insulation must be ≥ R25. |
| Roof insulation* | $2.85 per square foot | No existing insulation, unless existing is damaged or missing; new insulation must be ≥ R15. |
| Roof insulation* | $1.00 per square foot | If existing insulation is R-5 or less, insulate to R-30 efficiency rating. |
| Wall insulation* | $1.30 per square foot | R-6 or less, unless existing is damaged or missing; new insulation ≥ R20. |
| Pipe insulation, process hot water, low-pressure steam** | $25.00 per lineal foot | If pipe diameter is ≤1.5″, the minimum thickness is 1.5″; if pipe diameter is ≥ 1.5″, the minimum thickness is 2.0″. |
| Pipe insulation, med-pressure steam** | $25.00 per lineal foot | If pipe diameter is ≤1.5″, the minimum thickness is 2.0″; if pipe diameter is >1.5″, the minimum thickness is 2.5″. |
*Damaged or missing insulation must be prequalified and documented by the installation contractor.
**No existing insulation. Pipes must be heated year-round.
