From its startup in 2005, Abundant Solar has been an active Energy Trust solar trade ally contractor, completing about 50 solar electric projects each year with a staff of only four. “We became a trade ally so we could offer our customers reduced up-front costs, and the incentives are essential for our solar projects,” said James Reismiller, president.

Abundant Solar installs residential and commercial systems in Corvallis, Salem, Eugene and Albany. The company recently completed 16 systems at Corvallis Cohousing, a multifamily condominium complex. “The condos only needed 1-2 kilowatt systems to be net zero because of the efficiency of the buildings’ design. It was great to work with such an energy-conscious group of people,” said Reismiller.
