Large business incentives

Energy Trust provides businesses and organizations with cash incentives for energy-efficient upgrades in large commercial building spaces over 20,000 square feet. Energy-efficient upgrades contribute to organization-wide sustainability goals and an improved bottom-line.

Small business incentives

Small to medium-sized businesses that have less than 20 employees or are less than 20,000 square feet are eligible for cash incentives that can improve operations and reduce energy costs.

Strategic energy management

Strategic Energy Management (SEM) provides the tools and guidance for making operational improvements helping large organizations save energy over time.

Solar incentives

Generating solar energy can lower operating expenses and reduce your carbon footprint. Adding battery storage provides backup power for lighting and other essentials. Benefit from expert design and technical support to make solar and storage planning and installation both seamless and affordable.

Equipment incentives

We offer cash incentives for energy-efficient equipment upgrades such as heating and cooling, water heating and food service equipment. Replacing older, inefficient equipment often pays for itself in just a few years, providing a faster return on investment.

Custom incentives

Larger projects or those that include complex equipment may be eligible for custom incentives. Our team can work with you to determine the best equipment for your business.

Application forms

To receive cash incentives, simply submit your application within 90 days of purchasing and installing qualifying equipment.
